I've often thought about walking away from everything I think I need, I've spent a lifetime working and it seems to be no end, except for death. Always wanted to end up in Argentina lost in Patagonia. My roots run too deep and too strong here though, it seems.
A temporary losing of oneself is recommended no matter where you go, where you're coming from, or how deep your roots run. And I'm grateful that you know me well enough to not listen to a word I say.
I hear ya. I still want to go. They got some 5 star resorts on the Chile side, probably be my best bet. I'd prolly die trying to hike in the Aregenta mountains, I ain't good as I once was.
Good morning. That's a great backpacking song and a great Monday song. Got two new headlamps, my poles, chargers. Gotta get 12 AAA batteries, packs of tuna, a small cooler with four chocolate juices in glass bottles. The anticipation of a vacation is a huge part of it.
