It's got to be that your first day back is the last one of the week. That it will last from the early, early until late, late. And you'll start from behind and finish that way. Because when you jump into the creek you do so by jumping in from the highest point. That water is shocking, but it's some of the best there is.
Today I am grateful for home, for my couch, my washer, my dryer, indoor plumbing, electricity, a garbage can, the refrigerator, internet, Netflix, a shower.

Glad a bear, cougar or red bugs didn't eat you. I envy those boys, you too.
It is incredibly selfish to just force them to hang out with me. I just figure if I don't ask a lot, they'll let me come around a little bit.
I drove through this little town Wednesday night. I was losing light fast and nervous about dang Atlanta, not sure where I was or how I was going to get where I was going. No cell phone reception but a little one stop shop gas station with just one guy sitting at the register. I pulled right up to the door and didn't even close it after stepping inside. (one of those old heavy wood screen ones)
Anyway, I told him I was headed to Mississippi and just needed him to tell me how to get to Atlanta. He had three ways but gave me the shortest since it seemed I was in a hurry.
Yes, sir.
Got back in my car trying to remember what he said when within a mile I drove right smack into the middle of Helen, GA, population 543. You and me, we would have stopped there for the night.
Sounds like a good place to stop, any place would be.
So I got curious about Helen, cause you made it interesting. Google got me wanting to go there.
Google's my go to. https://youtu.be/ebE59xj7SxY
Thanks for the craving on a Monday morning. Maybe I can make it to 5 o'clock somewhere.
It was 6 at Mexico. Margaritas.
Always nice hearing about it after the fact.
It wouldn't be proper unless you asked.
I ain't never been to proper, but I would love to ask.
We have this. It's proper enough.
