I mess up a million times a day and I plea forgiveness

They get out of the truck.
They smile.
They sit on that couch next to each other,
squeezed up, palms up,
and their mama hands them her.

Today I am grateful for a homecoming,
for a couch,
for a call I forgot to make,
along with another mistake I certainly made.

She, of course, kills it.

One of the things for me about forever not being forever was nothing was good enough. Now I'll admit to kinda setting myself up for failure in the cases of I should've seen that one coming, but the good enough to handle it was always me. He is likable, funny and deep.

Same for me on men, and I do love some Bill Burr but I can't imagine having to confront his conspiracy theories on a daily basis. It's like my friend Adam used to say, "I got enough going on right here." Then he would wave both hands around his head. I just loved listening to little bouts with his brain. Just like I do you. (It's Friday and I get to play chauffeur today:)
