He says, Maslow had it wrong. The top tier of the pyramid is power.

I think Maslow would have said that the need for power of one human over another human would be a result of a deficiency in one of the other levels of the pyramid.

He was wrong.

Okay. You overpowered me.

Today I am grateful for those who have and still do fight the battles of what we consider to be moral and good.

So I guess attachment theory would apply to me and this blog, now I think separatiion anxiety has set in.

At first I thought I was just taking off a couple of days and then I thought I needed to sleep and now I'm hooked on Breaking Bad which I was never going to watch because Hal in Malcolm in the Middle always needed to be Hal for me. Mostly though I think I have a new appreciation for my own silence, how taking a break from analyzing every detail of life can be relaxing so sleep, I've caught up on the last three years of not sleeping. But. I hope you know I am grateful not just for the time but to be missed and maybe this little comment will help with the anxiety of which I am familiar. I'll post a photo today, one I took yesterday evening.
