making of an article, Mathis Produce photos

I got to see the sun rise on Mathis Farms. Yesterday they planted the strawberries.

Today I am grateful for tutelage, for people who are patient and kind and generous with their knowledge.

Wow. This so takes me back to my childhood--while we only had about a three acre garden, it was just my family running it. (we were basically a self-sufficient ranch. Went shopping for flour and sugar but grew all our own produce, raised all our meat--made sausage, butter, cheese....I used to strain goat milk through a coffee filter and put it in the fridge, lol)

You've captured the light perfectly. Misty mornings lead to afternoons when the sun is hot on your back. The dirt under you nails, the laughter and chat that happens easily, making what would be a tedious job, peacefully enjoyable...

The pride when you stand up in the late afternoon sun, stretch the sore muscles of your back, and gaze out over the hundreds of little green leafs now shifting in the light breeze...

You got it all. :)

Alright, it's settled. I'll just take the photos. You write. Beautiful, Chantel. Thank you for putting that here.

Where? There are so many places to get messages. It's crazy when you think about it.
